Best Restaurants in Dubai 2026: My Personal Favourites

If there is one thing I have learned after years of living in Dubai, it is that this city never stops reinventing its food scene. Every time I think I have found my absolute favourite restaurant, somewhere new opens and completely resets the bar. 2026 has been no different — and honestly, this might be the best year yet for dining in this city.

I eat out more than I probably should (occupational hazard of being a lifestyle creator), but that means I have done the hard work for you. Here are my personal favourites for 2026 — the places I genuinely go back to, not just the ones that look good on camera.

Orfali Bros Bistro — Still the King

I know, I know — everyone talks about Orfali Bros. But there is a reason this place keeps winning awards and my heart. The creativity coming out of that kitchen is unreal. Their tasting menu changes seasonally, and every single time I go, there is something that makes me close my eyes and just appreciate the moment. The vibe is relaxed, the team remembers your name, and the food is genuinely world-class. If you have not been yet, please just go.

Tresind Studio — Indian Fine Dining at Its Peak

As someone who grew up eating incredible Indian food at home, I am always sceptical of Indian fine dining. Tresind Studio consistently proves me wrong. Chef Himanshu Saini is doing things with Indian flavours that feel both deeply familiar and completely surprising. The multi-course experience here is not just a meal — it is an event. I have taken friends visiting from India, and even they leave speechless. That says everything.

3 Fils — The Waterfront Gem

Tucked away in the Jumeirah Fishing Harbour, 3 Fils remains one of my favourite spots for a casual yet elevated meal. The Japanese-inspired small plates are perfect for sharing, and the waterfront setting at sunset is pure magic. I love coming here on a weekday evening when it is a little quieter. Pro tip: the kingfish sashimi with truffle is non-negotiable.

Boca — DIFC's Best Kept Secret

Boca in DIFC has been around for a while, but it still flies under the radar compared to flashier spots. The modern European menu is creative without being pretentious, and their sharing plates concept makes every dinner feel like a celebration. I had a birthday dinner here earlier this year and the team went above and beyond. The kind of place that makes you feel genuinely looked after.

Kinoya — Ramen That Heals the Soul

Some days you do not want a twelve-course tasting menu. Some days you want a bowl of ramen so good it fixes whatever is wrong with your week. Kinoya in Al Quoz is that place for me. The tonkotsu is rich and deeply flavourful, the gyoza are crispy perfection, and the whole experience is comforting in the best possible way. I probably go here twice a month, and I never get tired of it.

Moonrise — The New Kid Everyone is Talking About

Moonrise opened late last year and has quickly become one of the hottest reservations in Dubai. The rooftop setting is stunning, but it is the Pan-Asian menu that keeps me coming back. The dishes are bold, colourful, and packed with flavour. Their signature sea bass with lemongrass and coconut is one of the best things I have eaten this year. Book well in advance — tables go fast.

Al Khayma Heritage Restaurant — Emirati Classics Done Right

I firmly believe you cannot truly know Dubai without exploring Emirati cuisine, and Al Khayma in the Heritage Village is the perfect place to start. The machboos, the harees, the luqaimat for dessert — everything tastes like it was made with generations of love. It is also a wonderful reminder that Dubai is so much more than the glitz and glamour. The food here grounds you.

What Makes a Restaurant a Favourite?

People always ask me how I choose my favourites, and honestly, it goes beyond the food. Yes, the dishes need to be exceptional. But I also care about how a place makes me feel. Is the service warm without being overbearing? Does the atmosphere match the cuisine? Do I leave feeling happy and wanting to come back? The restaurants on this list tick every single box.

Final Thoughts

Dubai's restaurant scene in 2026 is extraordinary. Whether you are craving Indian fine dining, Japanese comfort food, or authentic Emirati flavours, this city has something for every mood and every budget. My biggest advice? Do not just stick to the famous spots in Downtown or the Marina. Some of the best meals I have had this year were in Al Quoz, Deira, and the Fishing Harbour — places you might not expect.

I will keep updating my favourites as the year goes on, because knowing Dubai, there will be a dozen more incredible openings before summer. If you have a recommendation I need to try, drop me a message — I am always hungry for the next great meal.
